This beloved recipe is a family classic that must not be changed—Cecile’s grandsons won’t allow it!

On birthdays, Cecile would always drop by with a big, warm coffee cake. Linden shared his, but his brother? He’d devour the entire thing—no slicing, no heating, no butter—just straight in! Everyone knows the cake never lasts more than a day. It’s more than a treat—it’s a tradition that brings comfort and joy with every bite.

Cecile beams with pride over her grandchildren, saying how happy it makes her to see them thriving. She never misses a chance to give them a big hug… and maybe sneak in another slice of cake.
