You bring the dish everyone goes back for seconds on.
And then it starts — "What's in this?" "Can I get the recipe?" "Can you send it to me?" Someone wants to take a photo of your phone. Someone else asks you to spell your email address. Hands are full, the line at the buffet is moving, and you're trying to explain a three-step marinade to four people at once.
There's a better way.
Every public recipe in Our Recipe Tree has sharing tools built right in.
Open the recipe and tap Share / Print. You can share it by Facebook, WhatsApp, email, or direct link; print the recipe; copy its link; download its QR code; or choose
Download Sharing Page (3 Tent Cards – PDF).
The sharing page fits three foldable tent cards on one sheet of US Letter paper: two compact cards across the top and one larger full-width card across the bottom. Each card includes the recipe title, Our Recipe Tree logo, a large QR code, and simple scanning instructions. The white background keeps home-printing ink use low.
Set a card beside the dish, and people can point their phone camera at it to go straight to the recipe — no app required, no account needed, and no passing phones around.
More places this comes in handy than you'd expect
Holiday dinners — print the QR code and leave it next to the dish
Church potlucks or community events — one card serves everyone
Family reunions — each dish can have its own code
Gifting a dish — tuck the QR code in with the container
Cooking for a crowd — anyone who asks can just scan
The recipe they land on is yours — your photos, your story, your name on it. It's not a link to some generic recipe website. It's the version that belongs to you, with the details only you know.
Food is meant to be shared. The dish, the recipe, and the story behind it. The Share / Print tools make all three easy.
Log in to your collection, open a public recipe, and choose Share / Print. Its QR code and three-card sharing page are ready to download.
